11. Blog Entry 2: Crime and Punishment

Imagen
What Justice Means Today While studying crime and punishment, I learned that crimes often have social or personal causes such as poverty, lack of opportunities, or emotional pressure. Modern justice systems focus on both punishment and rehabilitation through education and support programs. Understanding this topic helped me see that justice should protect society while giving people a chance to change. Activity: Justice Case Reflection Think of a crime case you have heard about (from news, documentaries, or school material). Respond briefly to these points: What was the crime? What punishment was given? Do you think the punishment was fair? Why or why not? What alternative solution or rehabilitation program could help in this case?

10. Blog Entry 1: Critical Thinking and Media Literacy

Imagen
Thinking Smart in the Digital Age In today’s world full of information, critical thinking and media literacy help us understand what is true and what is misleading. During my training, I learned to question sources, identify bias, and analyze the purpose behind news, videos, and social media posts. Now, before believing or sharing information, I check if it is reliable and supported by evidence. These skills help me communicate better and avoid misinformation. Activity: Spot the Truth Choose a news headline or social media post you recently saw. Answer these questions: Who created this message? What is the purpose (inform, sell, persuade, entertain)? Is there evidence supporting the information? Could it be biased or incomplete? Write a short reflection (4–5 sentences) about what you discovered.
